A Recipe Book..

Hi there!

What's Cooking?
Yeah.. That's our theme this week..

With the gorgeous Magnolia Recipe Card Collection 2017 released a few weeks ago there was no doubt what our DT Barbara was going to play with..
Let's see what she made..

A stunning recipe book handmade from top to bottom..
These are the projects we like!

There is a Maja Design Collection that holds all of these amazing blue patterned papers you see on here..
It's the fab Summertime Collection..
There's a special promotion going on in the store so these and many many other papers are now ON SALE..

As we said before Barbara used lots of amazing new Magnolia products for this book..
One of them is the cutest Edwin ever..
His name is Chef Edwin and Barbara coloured him with her Distress Inks..
The highlights are made with a Ranger White Opaque Pen and as always there's some Dina Wakley Gesso layed around..
Note that Barbara always uses the Distress Micro Glaze to seal her coloured images..
It's very easy to apply and dries to a smudge resistant, waterproof finish..

Several Magnolia Doohickeys were used on here, but the biggest one is the Recipe Card..
This one is great for card's bases too..

The other Magnolia dies our Barbara used are the following:
The Old Swedish Lace
Plate and Cutlery
Medallion & Cutting Board (Barbara coloured those with Distress Inks too)

Lots of trims dangling on the side..
Our white and blue Vintage Seam Binding, the Je t'aime Lace Trim and a bit of bakers twine to hold our beautiful Love Cup charm..

All the edges are machine sewn and Barbara pulled out one of the Pion Design 'oldies' to create the text behind Edwin..
It's the evergreen 12x12 Cut Out Sheet from the Studio of Memories collection..
Yeah.. That's the one with all those pretty butterflies..
And it's almost impossible to find since it's been discontinued by the manufacturer..
But we have some more.. Yes we do!

If you enjoy cooking and crafting as much as I do, I suggest you make yourself a beauty like this..

Thanks for stopping by!

Have Dinner with Me..

Good morning dear followers!

As promised we are here early in the morning to share with you our DT Susen's latest creation for our Inspirational blog..
This is the last make for our weekly theme that is
Garden of Love..

Susen used the Vintage Square Doohickey set for the base and second layer of the card..
The papers are from Maja Design of course, and she picked the Vintage Summer Basics 6x6 Paper Pad this time..

Have you seen the amazing coloring on here?
Distress Inks are Susen's fave medium and as you can see she can do magic with them..
This Have Dinner with Me Tilda is from the Recipe Card Collection 2017 and we are getting restocks of this amazing collection tomorrow.. Yayyy!!

She cut the image out with a circle die with faux stitches and stamped with the marvelous Stempelglede stamps around it..
Behind that is a scalloped circle, then some corrugated cardboard covered in Gesso, and behind that one of our super elegant 4'' Round Doilies..

Two Scalloped Tag Doohickeys are tucked behind all the layers and Susen tied some fab pink Vintage Seam Binding on those..

All the flowers are from our WOC range and she also used some Bead Berry Spray Clusters and Decorative Foam Bouquets..

The card edges are distressed with some Gesso as well..

Two more details we wanna point at..
The Sakura Backround Doohickey die that is placed in the upper left corner of this gorgeous make..
And the beautiful Just for You Scrapiniec chipboard piece..

The two tags pulled out..
Each of them holding a fab Stempelglede sentiment..

Happy crafting guys!
Hope we inspired you a lot!

Rose Garden..

Hello everyone!

This week we all already think about love,
about the upcoming Valentine's Day..

Mind in connection with the theme of the week that is
Garden of Love
our sweet DT Izabela remembered a song..

Rose Garden
"I beg your pardon
I never promised you a rose garden
Along with the sunshine
There's gotta be a little rain sometime
I beg your pardon
I never promised you a rose garden"
Lynn Anderson

That's how she came up with an idea for this amazing card..

We really don't know where to start this time..
There's so much going on here..

Let's talk about the papers first..
Izabela picked various Pion Design and Maja Design collections once again..
The Coffee in the Arbour and Summertime 6x6 Maja Paper Pads, a 12x12 sheets from the Vintage Romance collection..
Then the Pion 12x12 sheets.. One from the Easter Greetings collection, one from the To My Valentine and of course she had to use one from the newly added Where the Roses Grow collection too..

Let's move on to the details..
She used two amazing Magnolia Doohickeys..
The Rose Leaf and Scalloped Tag die that she used to cut out the Ephemera image from the Vintage Romance Sheet..

On this pic is a great view of our stunning Lace Deantha too..
And check out those beautiful Scrapiniec Big Rosettes..

Talking about Scrapiniec Chipoards..
She used a Royal Small Decor too..

And a bit of our Lace Estelle..
You can really see how much dimension and texture all these elements give to this unbelievably gorgeous card..
Seems almost like a canvas..

Yeah.. She used lots of wonderful WOC flowers too..
Wild Roses, Magnolias, Open Roses, Rosebuds..
They are all here and rigorously covered in glitter..

Hope we inspired you to create something as pretty as Isabela's card..
We'll be back with you tomorrow morning with a new project from our DT Susen..
Stay tuned!
